What they wore: Hunger Games Premiere

Greetings fashion lovers!
I'm going to be truthful and say that I actually was planning on doing a WIWW today, but right when I opened the door to leave today, I saw the icky weather and ran upstairs and just threw on some black jeans, and a band t-shirt. But, I will be giving you the low down on what the stars wore to The Hunger Games premiere on Monday.

Also, for those of us who don't know about the film The Hunger Games, it's being called the new Harry Potter or Twilight. Get ready for years of fangirling with this book series turned film saga.

Jennifer Lawrence wearing Prabal Gurung
I think Jennifer hit a home run with the dress. It's fun and loud, like her personality, so I think it's a great match. It keeps on point with the cut out/metallic trend as well. One thing though, is I wish that there wouldn't have been any side cut outs, it's a bit much. Overall I give her a 9/10

Elizabeth Banks in Atelier Versace
Elizabeth was an adult among young actors and I feel like she made up for her maturity with this young, bright dress. It's perfect for a premiere in that it's fun, and not too serious. I love the detailing as well! 7/10

Miley Cyrus in Emilio Pucci
One word: UGH. I've never been a fan of Ms.Cyrus so I'm going to try to not be bias but this outfit really just made me shake my head. Sure, the detailing is beautiful, but I just think it's too much skin for this sort of occasion. We get it Miley, you're no longer Hannah Montana, you're the 19 year old wannabe bad girl with tattoos and smokes, but I feel like this outfit lacked class among the other classy, yet totally gorgeous dresses. Hopefully next time she can do better. 4/10

Liam Hemsworth in Dolce & Gabanna
Liam can really do no wrong in my books, I mean look at that smile! But he looked dapper as ever in a smart suit and skinny tie. 10/10

Kalia Prescott in Cengiz Abazoglu
WOAH! This dress is so overwhelming I had to make sure that this was a picture from a movie premiere, not a wedding or The Oscars. With the combination of the many, many fabrics textures, draping, and ruffles, this gown was really just too much. Probably worst dressed at the premiere just because of the busyness of the gown. Better luck next time. 3/10

So that is it for my reviews of the many fabulous, and some unfabulous outfits off The Hunger Games premiere.

xx Andie
