This jacket has so much character, I had to keep it simple. As you can see in the pictures below it definitely gave me an EGO and brought out my inner SUPER WOMAN.  I added a touch of green (earrings) because I love color.
We were amongst great company. Thank you all for coming out and celebrating Chinh's Bday. We had a blast. The night was capped with dancing until the late night hours.

Today is going to be short and sweet. I know I missed Friday but I am not one to dwell on the past. :)

They are a size teeny tiny (4.5) some lucky lady is going to be strutting her stuff in these. I will be putting these on my Etsy sometime in the Fall.

My riding boots are THE go to boots when I am out on the town on a cold rainy day, shopping of course. These Frank Saratro were screaming my name, I  picked them up at a Gsale. These will be on Etsy soon.

What I Wore Wednesday-Stripes & Leopard Print

OH MY!

What:
Striped and Satin Dress: Nordstrom Brand
Leopard Coat: Lucky Brand
Short Orange Cardigan: Macy's
Tights: Target
Shoes: Michal Kors
HandBag: Balenciaga
Accessories: Randomness from my huge collection

Where:
Celebrating my guys birthday at The Parlor Comedy show. Today's life lesson Laugh until it hurts.

Why:
I was a little behind schedule, so I had to find something in my closet that was wrinkle free. My closet is so jammed packed with clothes, this is almost an impossible feat- accept for THIS dress. I added the bright orange cardigan for a pop of color. (My guy had the nerve to question my actions. He said,"black and white stripes with orange?" I just looked at him and rolled my eyes.) Not to say I don't value his fashion opinion, I just didn't ask for it at that particular time *Wink*. The bag I just love, the accessories are a must, the shoes make me happy and they sparkle, the leopard print short faux fur coat was a last minute thought that ended up being a double exclamation point!!

TADA!

The back of my MK shoes are detailed with beautiful black crystal rhinestones.I would have taken a shot of the back but someone had an attitude(I'm not naming any names *CHINH) so I had to get it over and done with quickly. *SIGH-GRRR* I need a personal photographer..

A little *POP* of color on the toesy toes.

Friday Fabulous Finds-Yellow Drop of Georgous

Hello Soulmates

While out garage sale'n I came across this gorgeous dress. Ladies, my heart started pumping, palms started sweating I tell ya. I just about died when I saw this dress. An older gentleman approach me and said it was the very first dress that he ever purchased for his wife. "It is still my favorite dress." he said. It did have a price tag which is very normal when you are at a garage sale. When I asked how much, his wife said, "how about 1 dollar?" "SOLD!" I yelled! Oh my Lord, I couldn't get my money out fast enough.  I couldn't wait to get home to do research on the designer Leo Narducci. While researching I cam across a blogger who also found a Leo Narducci dress at her friend's consignment shop. She posted the picture of this dress

http://stylebybec.com
and Leo Narducci the man himself replied to her post.OMG OMG OMG! I hope he does the same to me and maybe he will follow me too. HELLO Mr. Narducci! He is also on Facebook and you already know I am going to friend request him. Without further a do, here is THE dress.
she fits me like a glove

Mr. Narducci this dress is amazing, the satin detail on the bottom and inside the hood of the dress is what I call perfection. This dress is Yellow Drop of Gorgeous it perfectly shows off a the shape of the woman. Its sexy in every way. This is another reason why I love love love vintage clothing.  I honestly feel designers back then were highly aware of the structure of the woman's body and made sure that their designs highlighted and accentuated our curves.

Yellow faux alligator vintage handbag.

I picked up this bag at a thrift store sometime ago. I almost didn't purchase it because it reeked of cigarette smoke-YUCK! I was able to get rid of the smell by letting it air out for long while, I wiped it down with bleach and water, and then I put fabric softener inside and left it inside for several weeks.

Vintage booty shorts aka Daisy Dukes. These are going to be for sale. One size it has a draw string.

Original CHEETERS by Surf Line Hawaii-I wasn't able to find any information on these. SOULmates do you have any information?

Summer Summer Summer TIME! Lucy is modeling these beautiful necklaces. I plan to redesign them, stay tuned to see my creative juices flow.

Vintage Cowgirl Boot pin resigned by yours truly. For Sale price TBD. Don't forget to check out my Etsy and FB page. Click on the links to the left. :)

Tomorrow is a community wide Gsale and I will be there bright and early because. THE EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM>>>>>!

Say hello to your neighbor today and genuinely ask how they are doing.

Orange you glad it's Tuesday?

Happy Tuesday!!

If you've been reading other fashion blogs, or skimming through the latest fashion magazines you've probably been seeing the outbreak of orange that's been on all over. From orange jackets, to accessories, to shoes, orange is everywhere. Especially with the weather being BEAUTIFUL recently, wearing orange is going to help you transition into summer that much easier.

Here are some fabulous examples of ways you can wear orange:
Ted Baker clutch

Jill Stuart's bright frock on the runway

some of Hollywood's hottest women rocking orange

Hermes Celeste wedge
Tangerine jacket with a bold orange lip

Akris handbag

So now it's for you to decide if you're a burnt orange, tangerine, or slightly neon kind of gal. Either way, you'll be on point this summer while wearing any shade of orange.

Have a wonderful rest of your Tuesday,

xx Andie

SOULmates, have you ever put on an outfit, and suddenly you "become it." What I mean is it changes your mood. Here is a perfect example, I could not help but think about the woman that once owned this dress, where she lived, where she may have worn it, how she accessorized it, did she find her true love while wearing it. I know I am a hopeless romantic *sigh.*

 Olivia

Ok so here is the story. Her name was Olivia, and she was named after her grandmother whom she spent a lot of time with learning how to be a lady. She adored and  loved her grandmother dearly and in turn loved her name. On a Sunday walk with her grandmother she noticed a beautiful plaid pastel pink dress in a high end boutique window. Olivia knew she could never afford such a dress. Her grandmother took noticed as  they walked by and Olivia smiled and glanced at the dress in the window. For Olivia's birthday her grandmother purchased the dress with the money she kept hidden in the bottom of her shoe for a rainy day. When she gave Olivia the dress she said, "Wear this dress on a day you don't feel so pretty, put it on, twirl three times, and like magic you will feel like a princess." One beautiful sunny day Olivia wasn't feeling so pretty. She rushed to her closet pulled out the dress her grandmother bought for her. When she put it on it fit perfectly in every way. She twirled three times, and like magic she felt like a princess just as her grandmother told her she would.

It was a beautiful day in London. The first site of spring, so Olivia decided to take the day off. She walked to her favorite neighborhood cafe for tea and pastries. As she sipped on her tea and nibbled on her pastry, she began to read and loose herself just enough to still notice people noticing her. Her legs crossed ever so delicately remember to always look like a lady. The way the sun made her chocolate skin glow, you would think it came out just for Olivia.  She enjoyed people watching without being notice. From time to time gentlemen would smile and tip their hat to her and women would whisper, "What  a pretty dress." Her only acknowledgment of their awareness was a simple smile that would show off her eyes and cute dimple just enough to say, "Hello or Thank You."

Smile and genuinely ask how someone is doing today.

Always, SOULBeautiful  xo*s
