Hello Beautiful SOULmates

Today is going to be short and sweet. I know I missed Friday but I am not one to dwell on the past. :)

Salvatore Ferragamo is definitely one of my favorite designers. His shoes are always sleek, well made and comfortable. I found this beauties at a Vince St Paul thrift store. They are a size teeny tiny (4.5) some lucky lady is going to be strutting her stuff in these. I will be putting these on my Etsy sometime in the Fall.

My riding boots are THE go to boots when I am out on the town on a cold rainy day, shopping of course. These Frank Saratro were screaming my name, I  picked them up at a Gsale. These will be on Etsy soon.

White Jean skirt with a pair of Cowboy Boots*YES, YES, YES! I love when fashion is effortless. Dolce Gabbana skirt will be for sale on my Etsy page soon.

A simple white button up with detail-love it! I couldn't pass this one up and I'm excited because its mine, ALL mine.

I LOVE BEING AN AMERICAN!

Friday Fabulous Finds-Yellow Drop of Georgous

Hello Soulmates

While out garage sale'n I came across this gorgeous dress. Ladies, my heart started pumping, palms started sweating I tell ya. I just about died when I saw this dress. An older gentleman approach me and said it was the very first dress that he ever purchased for his wife. "It is still my favorite dress." he said. It did have a price tag which is very normal when you are at a garage sale. When I asked how much, his wife said, "how about 1 dollar?" "SOLD!" I yelled! Oh my Lord, I couldn't get my money out fast enough.  I couldn't wait to get home to do research on the designer Leo Narducci. While researching I cam across a blogger who also found a Leo Narducci dress at her friend's consignment shop. She posted the picture of this dress

http://stylebybec.com
and Leo Narducci the man himself replied to her post.OMG OMG OMG! I hope he does the same to me and maybe he will follow me too. HELLO Mr. Narducci! He is also on Facebook and you already know I am going to friend request him. Without further a do, here is THE dress.
she fits me like a glove

Mr. Narducci this dress is amazing, the satin detail on the bottom and inside the hood of the dress is what I call perfection. This dress is Yellow Drop of Gorgeous it perfectly shows off a the shape of the woman. Its sexy in every way. This is another reason why I love love love vintage clothing.  I honestly feel designers back then were highly aware of the structure of the woman's body and made sure that their designs highlighted and accentuated our curves.

Yellow faux alligator vintage handbag.

I picked up this bag at a thrift store sometime ago. I almost didn't purchase it because it reeked of cigarette smoke-YUCK! I was able to get rid of the smell by letting it air out for long while, I wiped it down with bleach and water, and then I put fabric softener inside and left it inside for several weeks.

Vintage booty shorts aka Daisy Dukes. These are going to be for sale. One size it has a draw string.

Original CHEETERS by Surf Line Hawaii-I wasn't able to find any information on these. SOULmates do you have any information?

Summer Summer Summer TIME! Lucy is modeling these beautiful necklaces. I plan to redesign them, stay tuned to see my creative juices flow.

Vintage Cowgirl Boot pin resigned by yours truly. For Sale price TBD. Don't forget to check out my Etsy and FB page. Click on the links to the left. :)

Tomorrow is a community wide Gsale and I will be there bright and early because. THE EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM>>>>>!

Say hello to your neighbor today and genuinely ask how they are doing.

SOULmates, have you ever put on an outfit, and suddenly you "become it." What I mean is it changes your mood. Here is a perfect example, I could not help but think about the woman that once owned this dress, where she lived, where she may have worn it, how she accessorized it, did she find her true love while wearing it. I know I am a hopeless romantic *sigh.*

 Olivia

Ok so here is the story. Her name was Olivia, and she was named after her grandmother whom she spent a lot of time with learning how to be a lady. She adored and  loved her grandmother dearly and in turn loved her name. On a Sunday walk with her grandmother she noticed a beautiful plaid pastel pink dress in a high end boutique window. Olivia knew she could never afford such a dress. Her grandmother took noticed as  they walked by and Olivia smiled and glanced at the dress in the window. For Olivia's birthday her grandmother purchased the dress with the money she kept hidden in the bottom of her shoe for a rainy day. When she gave Olivia the dress she said, "Wear this dress on a day you don't feel so pretty, put it on, twirl three times, and like magic you will feel like a princess." One beautiful sunny day Olivia wasn't feeling so pretty. She rushed to her closet pulled out the dress her grandmother bought for her. When she put it on it fit perfectly in every way. She twirled three times, and like magic she felt like a princess just as her grandmother told her she would.

It was a beautiful day in London. The first site of spring, so Olivia decided to take the day off. She walked to her favorite neighborhood cafe for tea and pastries. As she sipped on her tea and nibbled on her pastry, she began to read and loose herself just enough to still notice people noticing her. Her legs crossed ever so delicately remember to always look like a lady. The way the sun made her chocolate skin glow, you would think it came out just for Olivia.  She enjoyed people watching without being notice. From time to time gentlemen would smile and tip their hat to her and women would whisper, "What  a pretty dress." Her only acknowledgment of their awareness was a simple smile that would show off her eyes and cute dimple just enough to say, "Hello or Thank You."

Smile and genuinely ask how someone is doing today.

Friday Fabulous Finds-Going Tribal

No not Africa
 Hello Beautiful SOULmates.

I am really digging the tribal prints.
The cut
The colors and the print-stunning. I wore this with a plain white tee, a pair of dark denim and of course high heels. Simple yet beautiful!

This is how I ROCKED my vintage tribal printed jacket!

I was a vendor at the SPRING shopping event held at the Snoqualmie Ridge golf course. Although the traffic was slow (due to the beautiful sun outside) the few people I connected with really loved my accessories and price points. The young lady in the picture was very aware of her sense of style. She was interested in a few of my pieces and eventually decided on a beautiful bird ring by Cara.

Email me if you see anything you like thesoulboutique@hotmail.com

I wish I could wake up to this veiw everyday of my life.

This is how they ROCKED it!

These shorts are AMAZING!

Gucci this Gucci that

uh huh I picked up these sophisticated mamas last weekend at a Garage Sale for 5 bucks thats riiiiighhttt 5 dolla made me hollah "honey boo boo child". That is until I realized they were too narrow for me. You win some you loose some. These are for SALE!

Sunshine Canisters

Aren't these beautiful! I must share the story about these sunshine canisters. When I purchased the cantisters they were taped up and I didn't bother to look inside. Once I got home I removed the tape when I opened the lid to one of them,  I was not so pleasantly surprised by what was inside-green, fuzzy disgusting MOLD. God only knows how long the mold has been growing in there. My stomach curls just thinking about it. Seriously, I almost lost my lunch instintly. But I had to pull myself together and build up just enough courage to clean it out-Gloves-Bleach-Boiling Hot Water-Soap and I went to work. I shall NOT be defeated!

I found this cute little doll chair for my God Daughter who is into American Girl. The cost of AG furniture is ridiculous.

My dog daughter Mulan thinks everything her size belongs to her. She is such a princess and not in a good way. LOL! She runs my life all 2.5lbs of her.
I didn't post What I Wore Wednesday this week. So here is a snap shot. My beautiful girlfriend Tina is crazy about fashion too. She always looks well put together on any given day.

WIWW- I love how my sweater feels and forms to my body just right. I've had this sweater for years and I love it just as much as I did when I first purchased it. My earrings are rains of chains LOL, thats what I call them SOUL Boutique  .  Wow, look how my watch glows in the picture. Another great thrift find.
ROAD TRIP-I am off to WALL WALLA (W2) Washington with my girlfriend Chelsea Mae-I adore her, she is so sweet, my guy Chinh and princess Mulan. A friend of mine from High School moved to Walla Walla with her husband and opened a thrift store Door Number 2. If you find yourself in W2 you must go in her little swank thrift shop. I am so excited to see her it's been over 15 years since we last saw each other.  I am looking forward to a little wine tasting, thrift shopping and much needed R&R.

Until next time SOULmates

Pretty Pearl Purse

I don't know much about her because I forgot to read the label before I packed her away. I found Pretty Pearl several months ago. I was looking for pictures to post, and her beauty stood out to me, isn't she stunning, she screams SPRING.

Who doesn't love a bag of PRETTY PEARLS

Perfectly Tailored

It doesn't fit me-YUP its for sell. I know a great blazer when I see one. This is by Banana Republic the label is different than what I normally see for BR. It says made in Italy, maybe I never noticed that BR clothing was made in Italy. SOULmates if you can shed a little light and educate me on this brand I would be grateful.

I love the cut of this blazer. If you don't have a waist this BR blazer gives you the illusion of one.

Pink Birds and TORY B

The perfect summer sandals with the perfect summer dress.

!SUMMER I CANT WAIT TO LOVE YOU!

These are a weee bit small for me they are a narrow 9.5. If they will fit you they are for SELL. Leave me a message if you are interested.

I cleaned them with a sanitized cloth. The left shoe still has residue from the Nordstrom sticker.

Pretty Brown Eyes

She was adopted and I love her. Her fingers are broken, her leg is cracked, her hair is messy, missing a yellow bow, and she lost her shoe. All of these things make her PERFECT because it gives her character, would you agree?

Vintage 70's Brass Bangle Beauty

This is going in my boutique and I am sure it will be sold sooner than later. BANGLE IT OUT with  stacks of colorful bangles.

Spreading some Thrift shopping Tips. It's all out of Spreading LOVE-
As a young girl I watched my Mom budget her life with skill and looked fabulous doing it. Here is a valuable tip my mother shared with me.  When shopping don't p purchase something because you think its a bargain. It may very well end up sitting in your closet and never worn. Seriously, how much are you really saving if you never use or wear what you purchased because your only reason for purchasing is because it was a bargain.

SOULmates you know your friend you've been meaning to call but never got around to it, CALL HER today and see how s/he is doing. I am sure s/he would love to hear from you.

Friday Fabulous Finds-Color, Prints, and Plaid

 SAY NO MORE....

Hello Beautiful SOULmates

It is another beautiful day in Seattle. The sun is shining, although it is still a little too chilly for a sun dress.SHUCKS

Im super excited to share a few of my fabulous finds with you all this Friday...

These fabulous print pants are to die for. They are high-waist fit and absolutely perfect in every way. I can NOT wait to play dress up with these. They are vintage of course, the label says KORET of California. I have come across this brand from time to time, but I think this is my first purchase from Koret. I did a little research on the brand and I found out that Koret was established in 1939 by a woman named Stephanie who traveled with her with her husband who was a traveling salesman. Stephanie acted as a model for her husbands sweaters and eventually started making and selling clothes herself.

More information can be found on this website VINTAGE FASHION GUILD. VFG is my new found love and great resource for retrieving information on my fabulous vintage finds.

Color SPLASH!

SO CHIC

For the life of me I can not recall the name of this style. SOULmates if you know please help me from going crazy and tell me. Is it wide leg?

Im a little cray cray when it comes to prints. Can you imagine the world full of SOLIDS!  BORING-I would die, seriously I would. It would be, with out a doubt, a fashion CATASTROPHE!
Look how beautiful this plaid skirt is-No label.

BUT guess what, too small for me, and you know what that means-the skirt is FOR SALE. Contact me for information. Some lucky chic chick is going to be the talk of the town with this pretty plaid.

I'm in love with the hint of green and the pocket design.

Metal detail clasp. PERFECT!

Chanel says ALL white I say YES,YES, YES!

I found this gorgeous white sweater. I will be wearing ALL white somewheresoon...The crochet detail is also along the arms of the sweater. DOPE!

Friday Fabulous Finds-Spring Plaid

Hello Beautiful SOULmates

I got some goodies y'all!

Can you believe that I found this beautiful dress. It is perfect for SPRING, I can not wait to wear this plaid beauty with a pair of cute Tory Burch flats-YUM!

I am not sure on the date of this dress but it is vintage. Do you have an idea? If I had to guess I would guess 70's 80's. What do yo think?
Pretty and Perfect

I enjoy playing with prints, by combining and clashing them with opposite print patterns. What are your thoughts on this dress accessorized with the polk-a-dot belt?

Polk-A-Dots-Im obsessed

BcBg-Paris
Please ignore the ugly outlet plugs. I was being lazy and thought I could crop it out but uh NOPE, I was wrong

I love this dress, but I'm not sure how I feel about the ruched ruffle sleeves. What do you think? The dress is a Merlot color and it is fierce.

The two belts are thrift finds as well. This one has a dark silver tone with really cute flower in the middle, its the little dainty details I enjoy the most.
Made in Italy Vintage, gold mesh and metal belt.
