What I Wore Wednesday-Not so Suede

BLUE SHOES

Hello SOULmates

WHOA-before I continue check this out,

My first blog interview by another amazing blogger please click on the link and read my interview -Sweet Tart Beauty .

Ok now for the good stuff.

I totally missed last week. Honestly, I just wasn't feeling it ( I am sure it wont be the last time). So please be forgiving. Not to mention didn't wear anything worth posting. It was just one of those weeks, if you know what I mean. And you know what, I really don't like taking pictures of myself-I wonder if any of my fellow bloggers feel that way? I only do it because I have no one else to take pictures of  and I feel awkward walking up to strangers and asking to take a picture.

Anyway moving right a long...

I was feeling a little BLUE-in a good way.

Playing with color is my thing. I love the color of my cardigan, I call it peachgerine (peach and tangerine). The color gives the eyes something to smile about when wearing strips isn't as pleasing to the eyes.

Oh Yeah, it is time to break out the sunglasses. Those who follow my blog know I have plenty to wear!

I know the color doesn't pop as much as the picture above. I am still learning how to edit pictures.
Life is about living and learning...*sigh* that's what I keep telling myself.
I will say it until I am BLUE in the face, "When in doubt belt it out!"

Ha! This face explains it all. "hurry up and take the picture please." Torture!

My stylist comes up with the most intricate, amazingly beautiful hair styles. I love her long time!

Go buy a pair of BLUE shoes, I beg you. You will NOT regret it, I promise!

The gold anchor detail makes accessorizing easy.
A touch of GLAM.

The liebster award is given to the underdog bloggers like myself who have NOT gained a huge following but still have something to add to the blogging world. They should call it Waiting to become FAMOUS.  I am honored. I would like to thank my girl, my sista, my friend, and fellow blogger-So Lonely in Gorgeous. I love her blog its so intimately beautiful.  I will post more about the awards I was presented later this week so hold tight.

Friday Fabulous Finds-Shoes, Shoes, Shoes and..

more SHOES...

“Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world.”
Marilyn Monroe

Hello Beautiful SOULmates

As many of you already know, I've been thrift shopping ever since I was a little girl. My first thrift experience was with my grandmother, and I have been hooked ever since.

In the past I had one rule-NO BUYING SHOES.  I just couldn't imagine wearing shoes that were once worn/sweated in by someone else.*Grrrrossss* That is until I laid my eyes on a pair of Christian Louboutin. I quickly got over it, and here is how. I use shoe pads, these can be purchased at any major drug store or get you can get them free from Nordstrom-just ask any sales associate in the shoe department. Of course these shoe pads only can only be with close toe- pumps, wedges, or boots.

What to do if they are open toe or sandals you ask? One solution that is satisfying to my SOUL is mixing a little bleach with warm soapy water and thoroughly clean the the inside of the shoe. If the inside is leather, I use less bleach or baby wipes. I only purchase shoes that are new, look new, or gentle worn.

GOD I LOVE SHOES!

Lovely Leopard ankle pumps with Big Beautiful Silk bows-FOR SALE!

These are the most adorable angle pumps I have ever laid my eyes on by the one and only Stuart Weitzman-He is the MAN! I personally own a few SW his shoes are  cute, stylish, and timeless.  The shoes for sale still have a lot of wear left in them. The previous owner was obviously a diva who took great care of her shoes.

The bow detail is a show stopper for sure. These ankle pumps are made of leather and fur. They are a size 8 and if you are interested in purchasing please contact me.

Candy Apple Red Wedges BCBG. I just love a wedge with a statement.

"Ruff and Rugged, but I am still a lady" -Vintage Levi Leather Boots

Blue Tan with just enough gold, pretty my angle pumps.Galeries Lafayette- FOR SALE

I've never heard of this brand, but I know a good pair of pumps with I see them. Galeries Lafayette Paris is written on the shoes.

These shoes are too small for me. If you are a lucky size 39 aka US 8 contact me if you are interested in purchasing these all leather beauties.

*sell for about 189.00 new*

Of course I had to do my research. Galeries Lafayette flag ship is a 10-story located in Paris. There are a few other locations around the world, Dubi, Casablanca, Germany, and once upon a time in New York. Unfortunately the New York store was unsuccessful and closed the doors only after 3 years.

Wow, what a beautiful place to shop!

Not so mellow yellow vintage barley worn ballerina shoes. These too are a little snug on me-FOR SALE.

Well, what do you think about my finds? I would love to hear from you.

Have a wonderful weekend and remember be kind to one another...
