I'm not one to follow many fashion rules, but one that I usually shy away from is wearing white after labor day, or even wearing white in general. I know that is symbolizes cleanliness and primness, but I never think it looks quite right on me. But, this past December I came across this absolutely beautiful, dream of a dress in H&M and it was white, but I had to buy it. It had been hanging up in my closest looking lovely and unworn and I just haven't figured out how I was going to wear it, but I have finally figured out how!

So with additions like a blazer and oxfords, this nicer dress is dressed down a bit for more casual occasions like school, or coffee with a friend.

I like it! I've always been so confused about that whole No white after Labor Day rule because I always think that it's technically always "after Labor Day" right. Is there a specification as to when it's ok to wear white? lol! Anywho, the dress is super cute though and I feel you on rarely wearing white. I don't wear much of it myself.
